在先答辩后终审的程序中，由于答辩教师接触论文的时间很短，对论文的了解不是很深入，难以避免在论文答辩中有时会出现走过场的情况。改为先复审后答辩后，我们就有了较为充裕的时间，在答辩前对学生的论文进行较为深入的了解。

在复审中，对开题报告、教师的指导记录情况、论文的质量进行了认真审查，特别是注意了论文的真实性问题。很多分校的老师反映省校对本届毕业论文的复审做得很认真，确实如此。

例如，在复审中要确定一篇文章为不及格，我们都根据《实施细则》有关论文成绩评定的规定，给出了一个可以说是很充分的理由。如果认定一篇文章为抄袭，我们都写明了该文抄自哪本杂志或网站，原作者是谁。
